Visual Identity + Print

Harbor Hall Foundation

Harbor Hall Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that raises money exclusively for Harbor Hall, a substance abuse treatment facility in northern Michigan. The Foundation offers crucial financial support for special initiatives, including renovations and maintenance that go beyond what competitive rates can cover.

The client needed a logo that connected to, but was uniquely different from, the Harbor Hall identity. The logo was designed with elements that incorporated the lighthouse of Harbor Hall, but in a way that set the Foundation apart. The client asked to apply the same font throughout the entire logo design. Two shades of blue were chosen to symbolize a calm environment and strength, along with a yellow to convey hope. A selection of secondary colors was introduced for use in graphic elements to add vibrancy and energy.

The project evolved into deeper collaboration with Mind Over Marketing to bring the whole identity to life in printed collateral pieces. The subject matter depicted in the images is approachable, compassionate, inviting, and calm, while also expressing support, connection, growth, and hope in a way that embraces authenticity and aligns with the brand’s target audience.

This marketing campaign featured a variety of collateral materials: stationery, brochure, presentation folder, insert sheets, direct mailers, flyers, newsletters, invitations, pledge cards, printed and electronic postcards, ads, and graphics for social media ads.
